Not so obvious in a B/W photo are her funnel colour markings of Buff and Red which are the House colours of her joint owners , Red -Union Steamship and Buff -Huddart Parker. Sailed on the Bass...

Pamir, another of the great P windjammers that were involved in the grain races ( 1921-39) from South Australia via Cape Horn to Europe. Down south in the screaming 50's would have been no joy ride.
