My father was chief on her mid 60's. I sailed on her as a youngster with him in school hols. Capn was from Cornwall I think.

Thanks, what is the puzzle is that they were built at different yards, and some years apart yet appear to be almost identical. How this came about is the Q I ask.

Can anyone cast light on these two vessels built at different times and different yards.
They appear to be identical. From some websites even the engines are listed as Allen 8 cyls.
