Look at the price Rick and you will know how old we are getting. have a hugh collection of these Ian Allan book from the 50' & 60's bring back lots of memories.

Hi Norman,I could not afford them as a youngster on my pocket money.Today they are still sought after and fetch between £2-5,depending on condition,on Ebay.

I had just started work as an office boy in a shipping company on £2.10 shillings a week and could just about afford to bye one a month but then that was the good old days.

..and I had 3 more years in school before starting as trainee clerk with Crows timber wharf on the Thames at £3.17.6 pence per week !!-big money.
