Default Weaver Pilot (Viv Thomas)

I recall seeing a post on a previous incarnation of this site suggesting that Captain Viv Thomas was most likely no longer with us.

I am pleased to say that this is not true, I spoke to Capt Thomas today (10/1/2014) and am looking forward to meeting him in a couple of days time.

Regards to all,
Neil

Hi Peter,

Certainly will pass on your regards.

Sadly the occasion we will be attending on Monday is the funeral of John McIntyre, managing director of Armitt's, who passed away on Dec. 27th. You probably remember John when he was our agent in the 70's and 80's.

Regards
Neil

Hi Neil
Thanks for the information you gave regarding Vivian and the sad new on John Macintyre, yes i do remember him, i was particular friendly with the waterclerks who i dont remember the names now but when we were berthed on church wall weston point it was a regular thing that we all took refreshment together in the pub close by on the Dock, i did hear a long while back that Stan the Pilot also passed away.
Did you work for Armitts ?
Rgds
Pete
