Fluvius Tamar in the English Channel
FLUVIUS TAMAR - IMO 9501708, sank on Saturday night in the English Channel.
All 7 crew were rescued by the master and crew of the PNO freight ferry NORSTREAM, whos master deserves a medal maneuvering the ferry almost alongside the sinking ship Two crewmembers were in the water and 5 in the liferaft in heavy seas. The ferry captain manouverd the ship so his pilot door was by the casualtys and recovered all 7 safely
