Default My vessel

Well actually I'm only skipper not the owner of our family boat the ALAURMA. She is a Broom 44 (number 1 in fact), built 1990. She was re-engined with 2 TAMD75 Volvo's, good for 480bhp each, giving a top speed of 30kts. 6 berths in 3 cabins.

First pic is on our berth in Hull marina, 2nd and 3rd out in the Humber on the Queen's Jubilee day, opening up and at full chat.

We don't often go flat out - at nearly 200l per hour we can't afford to! Usually potter around at 12-15kts with plenty to spare if needed
