8 Cylinders MAK-DIESEL – type 8MU451AK - BHP=1400 - Speed ​​13,5 knots

Owner:P/R Cappenberg, by August Bolten Company, William Millers Nachfolger, Hamburg, West Germany.



10-1971: Sold to Akropetros Company Limited, Famagusta, Cyprus and renamed ”AKROPETROS", but still withAugust Bolten as the daily “managing owner”.

05-09-1973: Sold to Rederiet Steencoasters IV, K/S, Assens, DKand renamed JYTTE STEEN. Price was 5.000.000 Swiss Franc



SUBSEQUENT HISTORY:

01-1975: Sought safe haven in January 1975 in Lisbon after storm damage while she was on route from Livorno to Liverpool with a load of rice, repaired.
06-1976:Company changed name to Rederi K/S Steencoasters IV, Assens
08-1976: Fire broke out in engine-room in about 1000 nautical miles WSW of Las Palmas on route from Abidjan to Houston with coffee. Towed to Las Palmas by GE BB "WOTAN" and repaired.

05-1977 renamed "SCANTARES", hometown: Næstved.
13-10-1977: Arrived Korsør and laid up.
02-1978 Sold to MR: H. O. Lawn, MR: Amel M. Eli Ali, MR: K. A. Assafiri & Company in Tripoli, Lebanon & was renamed "RAYES". Price was 710.000 USD
07-01-1981: Stranded on the in the Gulf of Asinara on route from Tripoli to Marseille.
26-02-1981: Salvaged on June 26, 1981, but declared CTL and was taken over by the salvage company Medit SpA.

1985 Sold to Giuseppe Esposito, Naples for scrapping, and she was scrapped in 1985 by Navalsiser Spa. in Naples. (E. Giuseppe).
