RIG SEISMIC ---IMO 8101331 as from 1982.
Constructed by the Flekkefjord Slipp and Maskinfabrik A/S in Flekkefjord, Norway in 1982 for Galerace Ltd in the U.K.
chartered by AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) to be used as a research and seismographic vessel.

GRT 1545 DWT 1500 loa 76 m. and beam 14 m.
She operated frequently around Australia and was mainly based in Fremantle , by memory I also supervised the ship once or twice in drydock there.
Also operated in the Philippines as aided by the Australian Government. She was there involved with a grounding on 15th April 1992

Topside was painted in bright International Orange.
1999 SVITZER MERIDIAN GRT increased to 2255
2004 FUGRO MERIDIAN and she still operates under this name mainly in Scandinavia.
