Hi Mike and All Thats a name from the past they had Frendo Faith + two sisters 2500dwcc, we used to charter the Faith on the steel run to Rochester Limehouse Wharf back in the 70's, if I remember they started life as tankers but then changed to bulkers whilst at the yard.Had the Faith on her first voyage and she could'nt open the hatches so had to wait till she floated again to releive the pressure on the hatch coamings Gareth
Gareth, Weston Shipping had six of this class all started of with Frendo names, and when Frendo folded all had Weston names.

I seem to recall piloting one of these regular Falkland traders. Odd name, something like "SES". Clearly stood for something but that was her name - I think!!

A.E.S was the one. I took her in a couple of times from Sunk to Denton Wharf.
Interesting article about her and the trade here: http://www.cachalots.org.uk/.../To-t...kland-Islands1.
