Default Kronprins Frederik IMO 5196983

Built: Helsigors Jernsk & Msk, Denmark 1941

Moved to Copenhagen at beginning of WWII and stripped of valuable fittings for safekeeping. Towed to Elsinor for completion in May 1945.
Entered service on Harwich - Esbjerg sevice.
Suffered an electrical fire while at Harwich in 1953, subsequently capsizing outward from the quay. Raised and towed to Elsingor for repairs which took eight months to complete, one third of her accommodation having been destroyed.
In April 1964 she transferred to Newcastle - Esbjerg service
Underwent a major refit in 1966, and fitted with a bow thrust propellor. Re-entered service on Copenhagen - Faroes - Iceland run.
Sold to Arab Navigators Co., Egyptian flagged, renamed PATRA, running on pilgrim trade.
Destroyed by fire in December 1976 50 miles north of Jeddah, bound for Suez. 106 lives lost.
