Default Bertha - imo 8137500

Hi all,
I got a request from our skipper Ulli, who owned her for some time, if somebody would know of her fate. He only got the information that she was sold to the Netherlands, maybe to be converted into a sailing ship.

Thank you very much in advance for your efforts

Pictures and information of her can be viewed at Shipspotting.com

Hi Dierk

Default Bertha

As far as I can find out then there are many vessels called Bertha going back to the beginning of last century.
Here is a photo which may indicate one of them from that era.
The photo on ship spotting does not look like a hundred year old hull, but then again I am not an expert.
Here is a photo I found the other day,
Regards,
Jan

Hi Dierk

I have solved the mystery of the Bertha. I have seen her this evening. She is moored just below Maldon in Essex on the River Blackwater and can be seen from Heybridge Basin.

Kind regards

Paul
