One of the Belgian fleet of Soc. Anon. Cockerill-Ougree which ran from Tilbury Basin to Ostend virtually daily; shown here passing Gravesend. Built in 1958, 574 gross tons. Others in the fleet that were named after precious stones were the DIAMANT, RUBIS, SAPHIR and TOPAZE.
