Hi Leslie and all - Whitstable for sure - looks like a Sietas building the 'Petra Gunda' types(abt 1200 dwcc) or maybe she bit smaller ? Cheers Gareth

Hi Gareth and Elias, am not sure that this ship was built by Sietas....
lots of ships built by Kremerwerft Elmshorn got the same deckhouse (5 windows in front) as well as the same hull...

she is looking like SONECK IMO 6620228 and can be viewed here:

http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/...hp?lid=1702533

She was posted on CR as AGIOS KIRICOS:

Hi Bob, can it be that the name is similar?? Checked Miramar, but no ship listed under KAKSBERG, tried Karlsberg or Karlsburg, but nothing fitting

Wrecked on Lundy Island was the Kaaksburg IMO 6401397 about 1980.

Moin, moin Bob and RABA,
thanks for the information, did check, but can`t be the unknown coaster, as KAAKSBURG had a hull with a lower foredeck, remember that Peter wasn`t very fond of these, maybe he got wet there more than once

Hi Leslie, Elias and all,

this "mystery" ship is looking very much like the HERMANN LUHMANN, as can be seen here:

http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/...hp?lid=1704423

but can it be the same ship, with some alterations being done ??

Did check all Kremer buildings, but of some no pictures available, while the other cargo vessels may got the same deckhouse or bridge, only other masts and derricks
