Hallo Dierk,
hatte vorgestern Deinen Eintrag bzgl Spenden gelesen. Aber danke für Deinen Anruf.
Jetzt können die Coasters in der nächsten Zeit ihre 'Liegegebühren' bezahlen.
Tschüss
Hans
Hi Dierk, I have added ANDREAS BOYE (5016626) with the photograph wrongly posted to ANDREAS BOYE (7803229) - grateful if you would remove photograph from that IMO Number. Hope all is well, Leslie
Good Evening Dierk - hope all is well today. I have noticed that dear old Rick has posted a wrong photograph to a ship in 2014! The UNION STAR (IMO No. 5131206) has a photograph of the NORDICA STAR (5201283) at sea as being UNION STAR. R.I.P. Rick
Hello there Dierk, I hope that you are well at this difficult time. I have a question. I am compiling a database of ships confirmed seen in exmouth docks, how could I make an appeal for information? Where would I be able to post it? Thanks in advance. Aaron
Dierk, Thanks for cleaning up the CHARGER posting, but the demolition dates on the Miramar site are wrong. I know they are a bunch of enthusiastic amateurs whom I am not criticising, but this time, they are in error. Right, let's tidy up some more records!
Hallo Dierk,
hast Du den Londoner abgestellt und Zeit fürs Hobby?
Es war ja 'wettermäßig' eine schlechte Zeit bei Euch im Norden.
Hoffe, ihr seid wieder alle gesundheitlich auf dem Damm.
Hi again Dierk, I fully understand that it is now very difficult to operate this site on the sole basis of old coasters, most of which no longer exist. Unfortunately, I am of the opinion that this is no longer possible. It is therefore with regret that I now wish to be totally removed from the membership.
I wish you well in all you do. Best regards. Bill (Canalsider).

Dierk, Good morning. Recently it has been good to see an increasing number of vessels and photographs featured every day. However, I am aware of a trend to post modern coasters and river/sea coasters more and more. This is not "Coasters Remembered" and is not in keeping with the background of this site. Today for example there were quite a few vessels featured but only one - Tasmanie- actually qualifies as a "Coaster Remembered". It is probably that the older generation of seafarers who served in and loved these magnificent old vessels is slowly dying off. The younger chaps seem to think there is something wonderful about the new coaster but to me and others like me they are ghastly box like things with no character whatever and the same goes for the ridiculous flat boxes with wheelhouses rising out of the hull on a square piece of metal.
Regretfully if this trend continues I will no longer take pleasure in following the site.

Dierk, I have just had a message from Wordpress (using my username - canalsider) and informing me that my account has been compromised. Is this part of your setup? I never heard of them.
