Evening Dierk, well I understand the point but most people have good broadband speeds now and up/downloading should not take too long, other forums are certainly taking bigger files .... your limit is not so bad for old b&w's but it seems a shame to lose so much quality from modern digitals. Maybe you can consider say 200kb?

thank you very much for your message. The images uploaded will be automaticly downsized, but have to admit that I`m downsizing them by myself before, because other forums are taking them only downsized, or like at Photobucket, uploading them would take a lot of time. Am sorry that the quality of the pictures are not like the originals, but if a member would like an original picture, not downsized, would always be ready to send it by email..... I know that members, like Ron who can use aboard ship only his dongle, are glad if they can view pictures without waiting endlessly while downloading with their slow conntection speed.
