Elbing was located in East Prussia, now called Elbląg Photographer unknown

Hi Rick, was my first thought too, but the funnel marks are different, white letter "Z" with black/dark band for Zerrsen ships....

Hi,
I think the unknown at Elbing might be ELBING II, built in 1894 by Flensburger Schiffsbau-Gesellschaft, Flensburg (149) as RHENANIA. Gt 874, 1.400 tdw. Anyway, the funnel marks are of August Zedler, Elbing/Lübeck (AZ). He had two other ships which were bigger than the one in the photo so ruled out.
