Default Radio Caroline (ross Revenge)

Ross Revenge or more known as the pirate ship Radio Caroline laid up in tilbury and now having a new transmitter mast fitted the one visable here has now been dismantled and put ashore with owners hoping to aquire a legal licence to broadcast again.she is also looking for a new berth somewhere the public can look around her and see what pirate radio and broadcasting history was like in the early days. The ross revenge with an original mast hight of 300ft 91m came on air on 19th august 1983 after the previous vessel the mi amigo sank in a storm in the black deeps on 20th march 1980 her mast of 160ft 49m was still visable above water for 6 years after the sinking
