The 'flat iron' collier s.s.FERRANTI,with gear lowered,including the funnel,outward bound,Blackfriars Bridge River Thames,1937- note the London Fire-Boat standing by.

British, FERRANTI, -London Powe Co.GBR London. Built by Burntisland SB Co.,Burntisland, 1137 grt,completed 30/11/1932.

Subsequent History:
Disposal Data:collision (AMERICAN JURIST) Thames 8.6.55, beached & BU Grays 15.3.56 [T.W.Ward]
