With the lowestoft tug ALA aft and Yarmouth tug Hector Ried fwd the ALA was mainly used to tow the lowestoft fishing fleet around the Harbour from berth to fishmarket and back.
Traveling to Gt Yarmouth as and when required.She was eventually sold and went to work on the river thames for thames towage untill about 2012 when she has since been sold on whereabouts unknown.
