Default AMBER IMO No. 5013820
William Robertson's AMBER, 1499 gross tons, built in 1956 by Ailsa Shipbuilding at Troon. Sold in 1978 and renamed SIMRI - sunk off Sardinia on Christmas Eve 1980 whilst on voyage from La Spezia to Benghazi with cargo of iron.

Good looking coaster and a good company as well. I was on a couple of their ships in the 60's, the Emerald and Amethyst. Happy days.

Went to Lissahally in the Amethyst and Emerald with phosphate from Casablanca.
